Customizing your characterĬustomizing your character begins in the My Avatar menu. In this article, we’re going to provide an overview of how character customization works, and some of the options that are available to you when creating avatars. Whether you’re ransacking a dungeon in adventure mode or taking on other players in a minigame, your avatar provides an opportunity to express yourself. Noxy if you should ever read this add Shrek in Hytale, thank you.Hytale provides players with the power to customize their character in a wide variety of ways. Objectively, I'm staying neutral exactly because of the reason that we cannot claim anything yet. Tl dr Subjectively, I do think it will be as what we expected. However the lack of knowledge about what's going on behind the blog posts is exactly what prevents us from stating anything radically right now. So as conclusion: Assuming they are delaying the game to be playable like a full release upon beta being open, I do think the hype was worth it and will fit our expectations (especially considering Noxy mentioning the game was already playable some time ago, the Hytale staff saying they will announce a release span when they feel more comfortable at doing so, the release being delayed from 2020 to further ). The tweet two days ago showed - under closer investigation - moving clouds and rotating door knobs, small things that many won't even notice, but just make the whole game better. However in my opinion, those little details is just exactly what they are working on. But it's possible to see small (example given) animation mistakes, like a not so smooth transition between running and jumping, or the animation of "being damaged" playing while you try to move resulting in funnily buggy transitions, minor things that aren't game breaking. For example in the beginning of the trailer scene, where the fox hunts a rabbit: Was the animation just recorded from a natural in-game occurence or have their movements been automated for the shot? I have no doubt, the quality, the light settings and further will be what the trailer shown us (because further tweets/ blog posts kept the same light settings). I'm not sure if everything is that perfect though. In other words, I'm pretty sure that it's correct to assume the game will run smoothly, the light settings will be what we have right now and further details will be in the game. However I like their way of handling "bugs we can see". However, the Hytale staff so far has also shown us some of their generation errors in blog posts, which makes things more promising: Obviously we will not see a blog post showcasing fatal game crash reports and a 5 FPS video. The problem with trailers, tweets, blog posts, and informative content shared is because it is cherry picked and adjusted to make up the hype. I wanted to clarify that objectively we can't say more than the blog posts have shown us so far, but subjectively I definitely think Hytale will be as promised. However I see people daily stating/commenting the game will be 100% what they expect. My opinion for sure goes into the direction of "it will be what i expect".
